Film screening & Q+A with Abenaki filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin

Abenaki filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin is one of the world’s most acclaimed Indigenous film directors.

Join us for a screening and Q+A for her 2017 award-winning film, Our People Will Be Healed, about how a Cree community in Manitoba was enriched through the power of education.

Open to all. Registration is required.

Cash donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal.

Refreshments will be served from 6:30 PM– 7:00 PM
